As a native Angeleno, Dr. Strom has practiced general dentistry for more than 35 years in the greater Los Angeles area and is a longtime provider of charitable care to WWII and disabled vets. Dr. Strom has been an active leader within the dental profession as President of the Western Los Angeles Dental Society, President of the California State Dental Board, and an appointee of three separate Governors to numerous positions. Having served in two faculty positions at USC School of Dentistry (teaching pediatric nutrition and Course Director for Ethics in the Practice of Dentistry) Dr. Strom is a lecturer and frequent panelist at local universities. 

He received his DDS from the University of the Pacific after graduating from USC with a degree in Psychology, and early in his career was recruited by Columbia University as an NIH Post-Doctoral Fellow and was a faculty member at Columbia University Medical School. 

When not in the office, Dr. Strom enjoys running a non-profit formed to recruit, educate and organize health care professionals to become more engaged in the political process and provides policy input to numerous elected officials at the state and federal levels.
